Carefree Farmers Market
Every Friday (Winter Hours - 9 AM to 1 PM October through May) (Summer Hours - 8 AM to 11 AM June through September) Every Friday near the Sundial in Carefree! Vendors change weekly. Features may include fresh, local, seasonal produce, herbs, and flowers; locally made jams, jellies, and salsas; and freshly baked bread. FREE ADMISSION AND PARKING! When it's hot, the market moves to the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion stage area with shade and misters to cool the area.
32nd Annual Fall Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival
November 7-9, 2025, from 10 AM to 5 PM each day. The festival will take place in downtown Carefree, at 101 Easy St, Carefree, AZ. Meet 165 award-winning, juried fine artists at this Signature Event! Sip fine wines and listen to the tunes of live musicians, while strolling through small to life-sized bronze sculptures, paintings, metal, clay, wood, stone, glass, ceramic, copper, found objects, and mixed media sculptures. See an array of pottery, photography, one-of-a-kind jewelry designs, batiks, and much more! Take in more than 5,000 original masterworks of fine art and fine crafts. Subject matter ranges from Southwest and traditional to contemporary and abstract, including floral, wildlife, European, African, and Native American. This festival offers a wide variety of mediums, styles, sizes, subject matters, and price ranges, to ensure there is something that appeals to everyone who attends. Annual Christmas Bazaar

The Arizona Gold Mining Experience
November 8, 2025, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cave Creek Museum located at 6140 E Skyline Drive, Cave Creek, AZ. *** Due to the popularity of this event, pre-purchase of tickets is required. Tickets may be purchased on the EVENT page. The museum opens at 8:30 am for event check-in, The AZ GOLD MINING EXPERIENCE begins at 10 am! The Cave Creek Museum’s AZ GOLD MINING EXPERIENCE is unique with its display of the complete hard rock ore extraction process, with the mine shaft, tramway, ore carts, crushing, and extraction, which are always on display but operated on AZ Cold Mining Experience.

Third Thursday Art Walks

Join Carefree Galleries on the Third Thursday of every month beginning October through May for our seasonal Art Night. Carefree’s Third Thursday event series invites visitors to stroll, shop, dine, and enjoy an evening celebrating the arts in downtown Carefree! These events help support local businesses and local creativity which make our Arizona culture a better place to live, work, and visit. The Art Evenings are FREE and self-guided, every month, 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., and offer FREE PARKING. Begin at any gallery, then continue to other participating galleries. 12th Annual Desert Discovery Day

Hidden in the Hills Studio Tour 2025
November 21, 22, 23, & 28,29,30 - 10 AM to 5 PM. Now in its 28th year, the free, self-guided studio tour offers seasoned collectors and art enthusiasts a rare chance to observe artists at work in their private studios during the six-day tour. The studio tour also attracts holiday shoppers seeking original, unique gifts. Each studio has one or more guest artists who also display and sell their work. Turkey Palooza - Thanksgiving Eve at Janey's
November 27 from 5:30 to 10:30 PM at Janey's Coffee Company located at 6602 E Cave Creek Rd in Cave Creek. Fundraisers are split between the Cave Creek Museum and the Foothills Food Bank. Janey's will host a 10-artist musical event with the proceeds from the $10 cover charge going directly to this fundraiser. See you there!
